Donald Baumer Passed away October 12, 2007 in Reno, NV. Donald served in the Marine Corp as Corporal, 1942-1947

Donald Baumer resided in Carson City, NV for the past 17 years. Donald Baumer was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 6, 1923

Survivors: wife, Lois, children, Richard, Stephen, Debra and Patricia, 1 granddaughter

His hobbies were, hunting, fishing, gardening. He was married on February 23, 1952 to Lois Don grew up in Saginaw Michigan where he lived until serving in the Marine Corps during WWII. He saw action on the Pacific Front and, among others, took part in the campaigns on Guam and Iwo Jima. After the leaving the service in 1947, he started working for the telephone company, married Lois Gannon and moved to Southern California. In 1964, he moved with his family to Reno where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

After retiring from the telephone company in 1982, he enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially in his garden.

Per Don's request, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Foundation.
