Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Luis Amador-Jovel, 33, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. in the 3900 block of Village Drive on suspicion of felony probation violation. He was allegedly drinking alcohol in violation of his parole on third-offense drunken driving. No bail was set.


• Joel Alcaraz, 22, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. in the 13400 block of Ladera Drive on suspicion of felony parole violation.


• A 26-year-old heating and air conditioning technician was arrested Thursday on suspicion of two warrants for misdemeanor failure to appear and a warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,207.


• A 28-year-old salesman from Carson City was arrested at 2:59 a.m. Friday in the 59900 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Welfare check in the 2100 block of Airport Road at 3:25 a.m.


• Accident at Roop and Fifth streets at 8:01 a.m.


• Coroner call in the 600 block of West King Street at 10:47 a.m. The decedent's cat was turned over to animal control officers.


• A mother reported at 7:55 p.m. that her 9-year-old son was battered by two juveniles on Little Lane.


• Fraud reports on Highway 50 East and Alfred Way.


• Domestic battery calls on Highway 50 East, Rand Avenue, East Fifth Street and Woodside Drive.


• Intoxicated person in the 1500 block of North Curry Street at 11:39 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Vandalism report on Prairie Lane in Fernley at 7 a.m.


Report of windows broken on a home under construction on Rainfall Way in Fernley at 8:34 a.m.


• A caller reported at 2:24 p.m. that his neighbor in Silver Springs has made obscene gestures at his mother and girlfriend for the last year.


• Shoplifting report at Smith's in Dayton at 4:24 p.m.


• Caller reported a Honda Civic was racing a motorcycle and the motorcycle was doing wheelies on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 5:23 p.m.


• A diamond ring and diamond earrings were stolen from a home on Almond Drive in Silver Springs.
