Weekend weather for Carson City; delays due to road work

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 62-72 and east winds up to 10 mph.

Tonight, clear with lows 30-40 and east winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Saturday, sunny with highs 69-79 and light winds.

Saturday night, clear with lows 34-44 and light winds.

Sunday will be sunny and warm with highs 72-82 with light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the afternoon.

At 6:12 a.m., the Nevada Department of Transportation reports all routes in Northern Nevada open with no controls.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are suggested.
