Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 52-year-old custodian from Carson City was arrested at 1:07 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor speeding and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,251.


• An 18-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 9:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Burglary report on Pheasant Drive at 1:24 p.m.


• Accident at Mountain and King streets at 1:47 p.m.


• Report of a truck chasing a person on Poole Way at 4:04 p.m.


• A teen was held at Wal-Mart at 10:47 p.m. after trying to steal alcohol. Her friend avoided capture.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A Fernley mother reported at 7:23 a.m. it appeared her 13-year-old daughter ran away with another girl.


• Coroner call on Agate Circle in Mason Valley at 8:41 a.m.


• Noninjury accident involving a school bus and a car on Old Dayton Valley Road at 2:21 p.m.


• Arrest on Pony Express in Mark Twain at 4:44 p.m.


• A Fernley mother reported her 13-year-old daughter did not come home after school at 8:07 p.m.


• An arrest was made on North Pointe Circle in Dayton at 9:59 p.m.


• Arrest on Tonopah Street in Silver Springs at 11:30 p.m.
