Dayton baseball routs Sparks

After a tough weekend in which it went 1-2 against Spring Creek, the Dayton High baseball team got back on track with a 14-1 win over Sparks on Wednesday.

Dayton had all aspects of the game working with outstanding offense, defense and pitching. Cory Yoder picked up his sixth win of the year.

Yoder gave up only one run in the sixth inning after Dayton was already up 9-0. The Dust Devils added five runs in the seventh. Tim Doyle had three doubles and two RBI, Ryan Ransdell had went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and four RBI and Connor Oliver was 4-for-4 with a triple and three RBI.
