Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Steven Scott Brown, 49, a bartender from Carson City, was arrested at 9 a.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny and obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $10,000.


• A 20-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 10:48 p.m. on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm, speeding and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $3,683.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Embezzlement report in the 600 block of Fairview Drive at 8:53 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary on Mathe Drive at 9:48 a.m.


• Embezzlement report on Highway 50 East at 11:33 a.m.


• Report of a threat against an Eagle Valley Middle School teacher by a student at 1:19 p.m.


• Coroner call on South Nevada Street at 2:05 p.m.


• Child molestation report at Sheriff's Department at 4:26 p.m.


• Graffiti on Panamint Drive at 6:14 p.m.


• Report of a man trying to pass a fake prescription at Smith's at 6:54 p.m.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Vehicle burglary report on Garden Circle at 6:44 a.m. in Fernley.


• Coroner call in the 100 block of Dayton Village Drive at 9:31 a.m.


• Arrest at Fir and Lemon streets in Silver Springs at 12:13 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report ton Occidental Drive in Mark Twain at 3:06 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on Simons Road at 4:28 p.m. in Fernley.


• Coroner call on Pearl Street in Yerington at 5:20 p.m.


• Arrest at 5:38 p.m. in Silver Springs.


• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate at 6:48 p.m. in Fernley.
