Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Jacob William Jeffers, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. on Siskiyou Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a firearm with an altered serial number and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $3,232. Also arrested was Garrette Augusto DeLeon, 19, a waiter, on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen firearm and 12 charges of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $33,784.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Fraud report on Brown Street at 12:49 p.m.


• Shoplifting arrest at Scolari's at 12:50 p.m.


• A fire co-worker was reportedly harassing an employee in the 300 block of South Carson Street at 4:16 p.m.


• Graffiti on Airport Road at 4:58 p.m.


• Coroner call on North Ormsby Boulevard at 8:18 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest in Mound House at 1:32 a.m.


• Destruction of property report on Klien Street in Mark Twain at 7:29 a.m.


• Accident on Miller Lane in Mason Valley at 8:51 a.m.


• Accident at Silver Stage Park in Silver Springs at 12:46 p.m.


• Report of drug possession at Silver Stage High School at 1:29 p.m.
