MINDEN " Douglas County Sheriff's captains Keith Logan and Mike Biaggini of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office talk about a homicide investigation at 2800 Wildhorse Lane in northern Carson Valley.
MINDEN " Investigators are obtaining a search warrant for the home of a man found dead in Wildhorse in northern Carson Valley early this morning.
Deputies responded to a report of a shot at 3:40 a.m. today and discovered a man dead at a home located at 2800 Wildhorse Lane.
Investigators at the scene said the man was renting the home.
Douglas County Sheriff's Capt. Keith Logan said no one is in custody and that the search warrant is to protect the investigation and the scene.
The area around the home is cordoned off with police tape.
