Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Robert Mozzer, 49, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of California Street on suspicion of felony auto burglary. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Melinda Joan Paetz, 39, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. Monday at Wal-Mart on suspicion of felony grand larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $25,500.

• Aaron Michael Steininger, 25, a blood services worker from Reno, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony preventing a victim from reporting a crime, driving under the influence of drugs and domestic battery. Bail was set at $11,764.

• A 28-year-old bartender from Carson City was arrested at 4:43 a.m. Tuesday at Long Street and Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, speeding and driving without a license. Bail was set at $1,341.

• A 19-year-old printing press employee was arrested at 11:39 p.m. Monday in the 4000 block of Village Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions and minor consuming. Bail was set at $3,237.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Coroner call on North Ormsby Boulevard at 12:21 a.m.

• A report of a man trying to pass a counterfeit money order at Wal-Mart at 1:02 p.m.

• Police responded to a report that six adults were smoking methamphetamine and marijuana around a 3-year-old child on Silver Oak Drive. An arrest was made at 3:59 p.m.

• A game console was reportedly stolen from a home on Allouette Way at 3:01 p.m.

• Report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian on West King Street at Thompson Street at 6:27 p.m.

• A man reported at 6:56 p.m. that his girlfriend slapped him in the face two months before.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• DUI and drug possession arrest on Luzier Lane in Mason Valley at 1:08 a.m.

• Arrest on Redrock Road in Mound House at 7:10 a.m.

• Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Wabuska at 4:18 p.m.
