Kathryn A. Martin

Kathryn A. Martin passed away on February 25, 2008 in Carson City, NV.

Kathryn was a 22 year Nevada resident and was living at the Carson Plaza

Retirement Center in Carson City. She was born November 1, 1908 in Russia

and was 99 years old. Kathryn was of German decent and came here with her

parents and four siblings in 1911. Kathryn, better known as "Kitty" was the

last surviving member of her family. She had many adventures in her life and

was of strong spirit and will.

Kitty met and married Frank Martin in 1927 and had one son, Gerald Martin,

both of whom have passed. Among her survivors are her four grandchildren:

Shelly and husband Bill Webb of Washoe Valley, Mindy Peltier of Carson City,

John and wife Beverly Martin of Brentwood, Calif. and Michael and wife

Darlene Martin of Redding, Calif.

Mrs. Martin also had three great grand children and six great great

grandchildren.She was our feisty little Grandmother and we will miss her.
