Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Carla Andrea Geraldo, 28, a counselor from Carson City, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. in the 2700 block of Carmine Street on suspicion of felony burglary and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $4,264.


• An 18-year-old male laborer from Nixon, an 18-year-old unemployed Carson City woman and a 19-year-old unemployed Carson City woman were each arrested at 9:08 p.m. at Koontz Lane and Carson Street on suspicion of being minors consuming alcohol and drunken pedestrians.


• John Henry Collins Jr., 38, a shipping and receiving clerk, was arrested on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument, two warrants for failure to appear, violating a suspended sentence and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $14,761.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Larceny report on Carson Street at 6:31 a.m.


• Report of a child with matches in the 600 block of West King Street at 10:08 a.m.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:02 a.m.


• Accident at College Parkway and Goni Road at 3:56 p.m.


• Fraud reports on Highway 50 East, Allouette Way and East William Street.


• Threat reports on Dori Way and Court Side Circle.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 1:04 a.m.


• A television was stolen after a burglar entered through a window at the FISH store on Highway 50 East in Mark Twain.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Nevada Avenue in Silver Springs at 10:24 a.m.


• Accident on Dayton Valley Road at 6:32 p.m.


• Assault report on East Cedar Street in Fernley at 3:29 p.m.
