Highway 50 " Snow tires or chains required for 21.1 miles between the California state line and 0.4 miles west of US 395 in south Carson City.
Highway 395 " Snow tires or chains required between north Carson City and Washoe Hill.
Interstate 80 " Snow tires or chains required for 2.7 miles between 0.6 miles west of Garson Road and 0.1 miles west of Mogul; chains or snow tires required for 0.7 miles east of the California state line; chains required except for four-wheel drive vehicles for 13.5 miles between Kingvale and 1.8 miles west of Truckee, Calif.
