A memorial service with family and friends for Lawrence Marvin Ostrander will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City. Larry passed away on January 17, 2008 in Carson City.
Larry was 54 years old. He was born January 1, 1954 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Marvin and Nancy Ostrander.
Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a quality control analyst most of his life while he enjoyed fishing, telling fishing stories with friends, drawing, collecting good stuff, and playing his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy. He is survived by his daughter Lauren Ostrander of Carson City, father Marvin of Carson City, brothers Steve, Chris, and Markus of Carson City; brother David of Covina, Calif.; sister Cindy Leibfried of Carson City; and sister Kathy Becerra of Chama, N.M. "Uncle Bunk" will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and little "boooks".
