Carson City roads and highways leading into Carson City are in good condition this morning.

The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 6:06 a.m. the following road controls:

Highway 395 " High wind advisory for Washoe Valley; campers and trailers not advised.

SR 89 " Road closed due to avalanche control for 7.7 miles between 2.8 miles north of US 50 and Bliss State Park.

Today's weather will be cloudy and windy with a slight chance of snow showers, mainly in the foothills, then scattered snow showers in the afternoon with highs fro m35-45. Southwest winds 15-25 mph increasing to 25-35 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 50 mph.

Tonight, windy and cloudy with a chance of snow; lows 19-29 with west winds 15-25 mph.
