Timothy Owen Moore, died June 26, 2008, at Stanford Hospital after a lengthy recovery following a heart transplant in 2007.

Born July 12, 1943 in Los Angeles, Calif., Tim entered the banking world at age 21 and for the next 35 years, spent mainly in San Francisco and a 3-year assignment in Asia, he achieved his many goals and made many friends along the way. He stayed true to himself and kept his motto "trust but verify". His illness caused him to leave his position with the Pacific Bank in 1999. In 2004 he and his wife moved to Gardnerville where he enjoyed taking trips with his wife, spending time with his family, fishing and he loved to read.

Surviving Tim are his wife, Diane, of 41 years; his son, Michael Moore and wife, Araceli of San Bruno, Calif., his daughter; Michelle Taylor and husband, Jason; three grandchildren, Robert, Rebecca and Rachel Taylor, all of Minden; and his brother, Denis Moore of Leucadia, Calif.

The family will again gather together to celebrate both his life and now being with Jesus before spreading his ashes over the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Per Tim's request, contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, P.O. Box 70928, Reno, NV 89570 with a note in memory of Tim Moore. Tradition Care (925) 827-2911 was in charge of arrangements.
