Adele S. Ivie

Adele S. Ivie, 94, died July 2, 2008 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born to Paul Schmidt and Pauline Wagnieve Schmidt October 13, 1913 in Tutway, N.J. She was a retired postal clerk at Clearlake, Calif. She has lived in Carson City since 1993.

Loving mother-in-law of Greta O'Kelley of Carson City, loving grandma of Kimberly Esenarro (Joe) and Karrie Alexander (Eddie), loving great grandma of Michael and Joshua Esenarro, Austin O'Kelley and Andrew Alexander, Kaitlyn Alexander all of Carson City, and Lindsay Alexander of Modesto, Calif.; sister Henriette Olinger of Carson City and niece, Marsha Phillips (Max) of Modesto, Calif., and stepson, Bill Ivie of Redding, Calif., and many friends.

Her only loving son Donald O'Kelley (2001) preceded her in death as well as husband, Richard O'Kelley, husband, Roger G. Ivie, and her parents.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Nevada, Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.

A Memorial Service in memory of Adele Ivie will be held at a later date.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
