Jeffrey Allen Ogburn "Jeff" or "Wolfy" died at the young age of 22. Jeff was born in Indio, Calif. December 9, 1985 to David and Maryellen Ogburn. He lived in La Quinta, Calif. for nine years, and moved to Carson City in 1995 with his parents. Carson City has been Jeff's home for 11 years, and he had previously lived in Reno for two years. Jeff attended Jacks Valley Elementary, Carson Middle School and graduated from Douglas High School in 2004.
Jeffrey had helped his family in their business "Budget Blinds" since 2003. He was an installer.
Jeff is survived by his parents David and Maryellen Ogburn of Reno, his older brother and sister-in-law Travis and Katy Ogburn, nephews Cody and Ethan Ogburn of Reno, Jen Volosin, Jeff's girlfriend and their son Gunnar Brandon of Carson City, grandfather Sam Ridgway of New Braunfels, Texas, grandmother Rosemary Ridgway of Palm Springs, Calif.; many aunts and uncles and The Pack of Gardnerville.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. today, at Calvary Chapel, 1635 Clearview Drive, Carson City. A viewing and gathering of family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. before the service.
A memorial has been established at any Wells Fargo Bank in memory of Jeffrey Allen Ogburn last four digits of account # 2762. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is caring for arrangements.
