A memorial account has been set up in the name of Carson City man Jeffrey Allen Ogburn, 22, who was killed in a Reno auto accident on July 2.

Ogburn was driving his family's company van at about 5:30 p.m. on Highway 395 south of the Golden Valley exit when a tire blew on a pickup in the oncoming lane and crossed the median. Ogburn was killed in the resulting head-on collision.

A memorial service was held Monday for Ogburn, who was a Douglas High School graduate.

Known as "Wolfy," he was born Dec. 9, 1985, in La Quinta, Calif., to David and Maryellen Ogburn. The family moved to Carson City in 1995 and Ogburn attended Jacks Valley Middle School, Carson Middle School and graduated from Douglas High in 2004.

He was working as an installer for the family business, Budget Blinds.

He is survived by his parents; a son, Gunnar Brandon Ogburn; his girlfriend Jen Volosin; brother and sister-in-law Travis and Katy Ogburn; nephews Cody and Ethan Ogburn of Reno; grandfather Sam Ridgway of New Braunfels, Texas; grandmother Rosemary Ridgway of Palm Springs, Calif.; and many aunts and uncles.

The memorial account is established at Wells Fargo Bank. The last four digits of the account are 2762.
