A few dough-heads, the soles whose feet are not yet cool from emigration are pressing their claims for county offices. They had better wait until they get acclimated and accustomed to the light mountain air before they magnify their importance too much. The citizens of the county are too sensible to gulp down every self important looney who thinks nothing can be a success without his special services. Ð Idaho Sentinel.

A mechanics lien was placed against the new Catholic Cathedral in Reno by Contractor Burke and Bishop Grace of Sacramento is named as one of the defendants in a suit to recover some $5,000 due for labor on the building.

Proof that the Wabash Quartz Mine should have been called the "Radio" mine is maintained by the Lovelock Review-Miner. Miners were down to the fifty foot drift suddenly heard organ music. It was so distinct each confirmed to the others what he heard. It is believed that in some way the galena in the vein acted as a receiver. The mine was discovered when the miner's automobile radio always had its reception blotted out when they passed the spot.
