Carson 14s fall to Reno West

The Carson 14-year-old Babe Ruth All-Star baseball team fell 16-3 to Reno West in the State Tournament on Friday at Sparks' Golden Eagle Regional Complex.

Carson trailed 6-3 after four innings before Reno scored 10 runs in the fifth inning. Collin McCulloch pitched four sold innings for Carson and also went 1-for-2 with an RBI. In addition, Jace Carlson was 1-for-3 with a run, Seth Rojas scored a run, Ty Welch had a run and an RBI and Drew Moreland doubled.

Carson (1-1) will play in an elimination game at 5 p.m. today against South Tahoe. If it wins, Carson will play at 8 p.m. today.
