Preschool sign ups at Recreation Center

Kid's Klub preschool is currently accepting registration for fall classes. Registration is at the Recreation Office, 851 E. William St, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the child's birth certificate must be brought when registering. Space is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis. Classes will begin Sept. 1. Sign up for Sertoma golf benefit

Carson Sertoma annual charity fun golf tournament for children with speech, hearing, cancer and diabetes problems starting at 8:30 a.m. on June 22 at Eagle Valley East. Cost is $85 entry includes golf, cart, prizes and barbecue lunch. Entry forms may be picked up at Q's Barbecue, 230 Fairview Drive or Pip Printing, 101 Hot Springs Road. Flags being collected

Julian Ballatore-South, is collecting tattered, worn and faded flags for his Eagle Project. Marked boxes for collecting flags are at the Dayton Elementary School, Dayton Elementary School and Dayton Intermediate and High School until Thursday and at Dayton Pizza Factory and Central Lyon County Fire Protection District until Monday. Fundraiser for Lindsay Davidson

Redhawk Sports Bar and Casino hosts a benefit for Lindsay Davidson Medical Fund from 1 p.m.-midnight on Saturday. Davidson was struck by a motorist while crossing Dayton Valley Road. Redhawk Sports Bar and Casino is located at 670 US Highway 50 E, Dayton. Raffles for Kids Play Palace, gift certificates. Must be 21 and over. Win a snowboard playing in the pool tournament. Douglas Animal Welfare Group will hold its annual yard sale, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 1041 Arrowhead Drive, Gardnerville.
