Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street will be closed westbound beginning Monday, June 9. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:16 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.

Today's weather will be breezy and partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 67-77 with west winds around 10 mph increasing to 15-25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, windy and partly cloudy with lows 43-53 and west winds 15-25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph decreasing to around 10 mph after midnight.

Wednesday, breezy and partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs 62-72 with west winds up to 10 mph increasing to 15-20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph in the afternoon.
