CARSON CITY

The luncheon menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive, includes milk or coffee every meal.

Monday: Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and carrots, buttermilk biscuit with margarine, mixed berries.

Tuesday: Cabbage rolls, peas and carrots, roll with margarine, Ambrosia.

Wednesday: Turkey sandwich with lettuce and cranberry sauce, 3-bean salad, baked potato, chips, peaches.

Thursday: Barbecued riblets, baked beans, broccoli, Waldorf salad, cornbread with honey butter, cake and ice cream.

Friday: Holiday, center closed.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Chicken enchilada, tortilla, cauliflower, refried beans, salad, fruit cocktail.

Tuesday: Turkey bean burrito, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, apricots.

Wednesday: Beef tips with noodles, whole wheat roll, tropical fruit, vanilla wafers, Brussels sprouts.

Thursday: Pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, applesauce, pumpkin pie.

Friday: Holiday, center closed.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The luncheon menu for the Douglas Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane.

Monday: Beef shepherds pie, Caesar salad, dinner roll, apricots, cookie.

Tuesday: Barbecue chicken, sour cream potato salad, spinach, corn on the cob, 7-grain bread, apple butter, banana.

Wednesday: Lasagna, spinach salad, garlic bread, fresh orange.

Thursday: Beef hot dog on a bun, Jell-O with pears, potato chips, watermelon, dessert.

Friday: Holiday, center closed.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.

Monday: Vegetable soup, tuna-macaroni salad, tomatoes, beets, cucumbers, orange, rice, pudding.

Tuesday: Corned beef with carrots, cabbage, onions, potatoes, rye bread, banana, chocolate pudding.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fresh mixed veggies, nectarine, rolls, carrot cake.

Thursday: Sweet and sour pork, rice, cauliflower, layered salad, bread, fresh peaches.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Chicken salad sandwich, onion soup, carrot and celery sticks, grapefruit, milk.

Tuesday: Breaded veal cutlet, broiled potatoes, red cabbage, ginger bread.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetables, Ambrosia, cookie.

Thursday: Barbecue chicken, baked acorn squash, cucumbers in sour cream, Ambrosia.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Turkey subs, chips, pudding, cottage cheese with fruit.

Tuesday: Teriyaki pulled pork sandwich, fries, green salad, one-half peach, butterscotch pudding.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable, broccoli salad, bread pudding.

Thursday: Big fruit salad, chicken strips, banana split pie.

FERNLEY

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:

Monday: Macaroni and cheese, spinach, whole wheat bread with margarine, strawberry-banana yogurt, orange juice.

Wednesday: Polish sausage, hoagie roll, garden salad with dressing, potato wedges.
