Uncle Tom's Cabin: This old reliable melo-drama will be presented on Tuesday evening with real bloodhounds, tow Topsy and all the modern appliances. An immense cast throughout. There will be racing at the track today. Two good trotting races and some good foot racing.

William Bliss, formerly of this city, will be married in San Francisco on March 25 to Miss Annie Buckbee of that city. The ceremony will be of a simple and unostentatious nature and attended by only relatives and close friends due to the recent death of D. L. Bliss, father of the groom.

Fish worm artists are anxiously awaiting the opening of stream fishing in Nevada. The following limits should be observed: 10 pounds or 25 fish; provided you may have 10 fish regardless of weight; 50 catfish daily. License fees are $1.50 for residents and $3 for non-residents. There will be no fishing within 100 feet of dams.

Luica Sousa, of South Lake Tahoe, won the district Lions speaking contest Tuesday evening at Carson high school. Awarded trophies for their efforts were Susan Stornetta of Douglas and Barbara Couch of Carson City.

The president of the "Basque Country" in Spain visits the state Capitol to sign a cultural exchange agreement with Gov. Richard Bryan. It is thought that his visit is the first official visit to Nevada by a foreign head of state since a Brazilian emperor visited Nevada in 1876.
