ELKO " Authorities say a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover in Elko County.
NHP spokesman Chuck Allen says the trooper was returning from Elko to West Wendover where he is based. The accident happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday just east of Wells.
Authorities say the trooper was flown to a hospital in Salt Lake City.
The Elko County sheriff's office is handling the investigation.
