Nick Schreiner, 89, passed away Nov. 6, 2008. Nick was born May 5, 1919 to Carl and Ninfa Schreiner in Solen, North Dakota.
He grew up on a wheat farm in North Dakota. He was proud to have participated in the Civilian Conservation Core in the depression era. He then moved to Oregon and California, working in the lumber industry for several decades. He was artistically blessed.
Nick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fern of Carson City; daughter Kathalie (Tom) Koche of Reno; grandson Jason Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughter Kimberly Graunke; great-granddaughter Kathryn Graunke; sister Anna Marie Kraft of New Salem, N.D. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Final Arrangements are in the care of Autumn Funerals and Cremations.
