Francis Lee Morgan Schlaegel Hauss Callahan

Francis Lee Morgan Schlaegel Hauss Callahan, 83, died Nov. 3, 2008 at her home in Gardnerville. She was born April 7, 1925, to John Pecky Morgan and Zula Margaret Galyan Morgan in Bear Creek, Cedar County, Mo. Among her survivors are daughter, Barbara Schlaegel Smallwood and partner Clarence "CT" Fleming of Gardnerville, son Verne K. Schlaegel of Bakersfield, Calif.; grandsons Stefan R. Delia, Barrett K. Smallwood, Landon (Kimberly) Smallwood and great-grandson Landon Kayne Smallwood and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m., Friday at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. Interment will be in the Lindley Prairie Cemetery in Bear Creek, Cedar County, Mo. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Douglas County Historical Society or a charity of choice. Capitol Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
