Weather for the Carson City area today will be cloudy with highs 45-55 with light winds.
Tonight will be cloudy with isolated showers in the evening then scattered showers after midnight. Lows 30-40 with northeast winds up to 10 mph in the evening becoming light.
Wednesday, cloudy with a chance of showers. Snow level 6500 to 7000 feet. Highs 43-53 with light winds.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays. Fairview Drive, westbound, is now open from Saliman Road to Roop Street. However, there is continued work on Fairview Drive from South Edmonds to South Carson Street with lane closures and possible delays.
Eastbound Fairview Drive from South Carson Street to Roop Street is closed. Lane closures are in effect westbound from Industrial Parkway to Roop Street.
Road work continues on Highway 50 and includes possible delays.
Work continues also on East Fifth Street from Fairview Drive to Saliman Road.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:57 a.m. all roads in the area open with no controls.
