Bonnie May Clary, age 87, a Carson City resident for the last 25 years, passed away Sept. 30th at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
She was born to Charles Vierheller and Mary Sloan on October 14,1920, in Fresno, Calif. Her early life was spent in Fresno and she graduated from high school there. After her marriage she moved to San Diego for several years and later to Woodfords where she resided for 10 years before moving to Carson City where she worked as a bookkeeper for the Nevada State Dept. of Motor Vehicles. Bonnie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and loved helping other people. Animals were the love of her life and she helped with many animal projects on both a local and national level.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
Survivors include two nephews: Dennis Vierheller of Los Angeles. Calif. and Edward Vierheller of Rohrbach, Germany and one niece: Janet Yeutter of Huntington Beach, Calif.
Graveside Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10 at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
