Weather for the Carson City area today will be partly cloudy with highs 56-66 with northwest winds up to 10 mph increasing to 10-15 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, mostly cloudy with lows 32-42 with northwest winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph in the evening becoming light.
Thursday, windy and mostly cloudy by afternoon with a slight chance of showers. Highs 57-67 with west winds 10-15 mph increasing to 20-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph in the afternoon.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:56 a.m. all roads open with no controls.
Utility work is being done on Corbett and East John streets off North Roop Street. Detours are noted for motorists.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House for the V&T continues with posted lower speed limits and narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
