Today's weather starts out breezy and partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be from 58-68 with west winds 15-20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph increasing to 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph by late morning.

Tonight, windy with scattered showers mainly after midnight. Snow level 6500 feet lowering to the valley floor with lows from 28-38. Continued west winds becoming northwest 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph after midnight.

Roadwork continues in areas of Carson City with lane restrictions on Saliman Road from Fairview Drive to north of East Fifth Street, and near the Carson City Sheriff's Department on East Musser Street.

Gas pipeline work continues on the south side of Highway 50 East, just east of Fairview Drive to Deer Run Road, with lane restrictions on Fairview Drive.
