Albert Floyd Christensen, 82, died April 3, 2009, at Evergreen Mountain View, Carson City. He was born July 23, 1926 to Albert H. and Doris R. (Smith) Christensen. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Audrey Cowan. Among his survivors are sons Christian Christensen of Las Vegas, Kurt and Cole Christensen of Carson City; daughter Cory Lawrence of Reno, brother Edward Christensen of Florida; ex-wives Rocquelle Whitmer and Vera Christensen; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A celebration of life will be 6 p.m., Wednesday, at El Charro Avita, 4389 S. Carson St., Carson City. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
