3 Carson swimmers take home wins

Three members of the Carson swim team took first place finishes in a High Desert League swim meet Friday.

Jamie Showalter (2:04.06) won the girls 200-yard free, Luke Genter (23.78) grabbed the boys 50-yard free and Kevin Dyer (1:51.51) won the boys 200-yard free.

Teammate Jacob Cornwell (1:52.83) finished just behind Dyer for second.

The Carson boys won the dual meet with a 94, 10 points more than second-place Douglas and the girls finished third with 66. Spanish Springs and Douglas took first and second.
