Snow falling in Carson City; chain controls continue

Light snow has begun to fall in Carson City and outlying areas.

Chains are still required except for 4-wheel drive vehicles for 13.5 miles between Kingvale and 1.8 miles west of Truckee, Calif. on Interstate 80.

Snowtires or chains are required for 26.9 miles between Bridgeport and 17 miles south of the California state line.

SR 88 " Snowtires or chains required for 5.8 miles between SR 89 at Picketts Junction and Woodfords, Calif.

SR 89 " Snowtires or chains required for 29.2 miles between Bliss State Park and the junction of I-80 at Truckee.
