John Palmer Nye III, 67, died Dec. 25, 2008. He was born Sept. 23, 1941 in Rapid City, S.D. Among his survivors are his wife Carol; sister Kay; three sons John, Gary, Steve and stepdaughters Pam, Peggy, Vicky, and Julie; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, at Sparks United Methodist Church, Pyramid Way and Oddie Boulevard.
