Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, obstructing and resisting a public officer.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Coroner call in the 3000 block of Ormsby Boulevard at 3:05 a.m.

- A woman reported at 9:42 a.m. that she'd learned 18 months ago that someone had buried a grenade underneath her bathroom window.

- Report of a broken window on a houseboat on Roventini Way at 11:56 a.m.

- A purse was stolen from a vehicle on North Carson Street at 6:26 p.m.

- A purse, cell phone and paycheck were stolen from a vehicle on Fairview Drive at 6:38 p.m.

- Fight report on Como Street at 8:31 p.m.

- A woman reported at 11 p.m. that someone had just attempted to steal her car from the 1300 block of East Telegraph Street.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Misdemeanor arrest at Fernley substation at 2:51 a.m.

- Felony arrest at Silver Springs substation at 2:35 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Paramedics on their way back to Storey County from the hospital at 2:32 p.m. assisted motorists at an accident in Carson City at Lompa Lane and Highway 50 East. No serious injuries were reported.

- Report of a female "high on marijuana" on Vermillion Road at 6:02 p.m.
