Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kirk Robert Connet, 48, a salesman from Carson City, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday near the Fifth Street roundabout on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Bail was set at $10,187.

• Steven Paul Martin, 51, of Carson City, was arrested at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony sale of a controlled substance. An inmate at the Carson City Jail, Martin allegedly secreted his prescribed pain pills and tried to sell them to another inmate for commissary items, according to the police report. Bail was set at $20,000.

• Raymond Donovan Workman, 57, of Carson City, a gym manager, was arrested at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday at Roop and Colorado streets on a Sparks warrant for suspicion of felony passing checks without sufficient funds. Bail was set at $1,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Vehicle burglary report on Como Street at 8:05 a.m.

• A gun dealer reported at 10:19 a.m. a customer brought in a gun that he said was stolen.

• Report of jewelry stolen from a home on Gardner Lane at noon.

• A woman reported her mother was threatening to jump in front of a semi truck at 1:40 p.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Carson Meadows Drive at 2:46 p.m.

• A 45-year-old woman with a "mullet" who fled a restaurant without paying for a meal, told officers she was a man when stopped blocks away at 7:16 p.m. The deputy knew her real name and arrested her on suspicion of defrauding an innkeeper.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 10:12 p.m.

• Report of a van "smashed into a tree" at Fleischmann Way and Division Street at 11:57 p.m. Police suspect the driver was intoxicated. He was taken to the hospital.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of an "irate customer yelling and threatening" a bank clerk on Pine Cone Road in Dayton at 10:41 a.m.

• Accident on Hardie Lane at 1:55 p.m. in Fernley.

• Residential burglary report on Ogden Lane in Mason Valley at 2:39 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 4:51 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Karen Street in Silver Springs at 8:55 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Motorcycle accident on State Route 341 at 11:27 p.m.

• Report of a 40-year-old woman with her leg caught in machinery at the Petsmart Distribution Center on Venice Drive at 3:42 p.m.
