State Bar of Nevada names England president

The State Bar of Nevada has named Kathleen England president for the coming fiscal year.

England is a Las Vegas lawyer who heads a two person firm devoted to representing discrimination and sexual violence victims. She has practiced law in Las Vegas since 1978 and served, among other things, on the Supreme Court's Gender Bias Task Force.

In addition, the bar association named Cam Ferenback president elect. He is a lawyer with the Lionel, Sawyer & Collins firm.

Constance Ackridge of the Jones Vargas firm was named vice president.

All are from Las Vegas.
