Carson Sertoma Club is hoping the community tunes in as they bring live jazz and the history of rock 'n' roll to its "Family Fun Night of Music."

Sertoma's annual fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive. The fundraiser is open to the public and offers the Carson High School Jazz Combo for live music, and The Rockin' Rev. Ken Haskins, who will present a history of rock 'n' roll from 1945-1954.

The $20 admission, $15 for seniors and children, includes a tri-tip dinner, prizes, live music and dancing.

The fundraiser benefits the Carson City School District's hear ing and speech-impaired program. Sertoma also gives money to the Carson Chapter for Diabetes for Children and Adults, Carson Advocates for Cancer Care and the Angel Kiss Foundation.

Tickets can be purchased at Q's restaurant, or by calling Frank at 885-7579, or John at 882-2603.
