Dog obedience at Fuji Park May 26

Guy Yeaman will teach dog obedience, 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, Fuji Park, 701 Clear Creek Road. The class is a six-week session for $75. Dogs will learn to obey commands such as: heel, sit, stay, stand and recall. Each dog needs a training collar and a fabric or leather lead. Successfully manage diabetes series

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center offers a diabetes education series, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 1600 Medical Parkway. These classes allow those with diabetes to acquire the knowledge and skills to successfully manage diabetes on a daily basis. Physician referral is required. For information, call 445-8607.

Genoa Home and Garden Tour

Tickets are on sale for the Genoa Home and Garden Tour. The tour starts at 10 a.m., Sunday, June 7.
