The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization will hear a status report about the Carson City Freeway when it meets Wednesday afternoon.
Also planned for discussion or action will be:
• Information regarding the proposed CAMPO federal fiscal year 2011-14 Transportation Improvement Program.
• Approval of the proposed CAMPO boundary expansion and authorization of a letter to the governor requesting his support of the adjustment. The organization hopes to include the Dayton Valley area of Lyon County.
• Information regarding the Triangle Transit Service connecting Carson City, South Lake Tahoe and Minden.
CAMPO meets at 4:30 p.m. in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St. Go to www.carson-city.nv.us to download an agenda and a complete information packet.
Immediately following the CAMPO meeting, the Carson City Regional Transportation Commission meets in the same place.
Scheduled for discussion or action are:
• A contract for striping work.
• Final payment for East Washington Street improvements.
• Conveyance of certain property for the purpose of roadway construction related to the Fairview Drive widening project.
• Adoption of an amendment to a highway agreement for micropaving about 14 miles of existing city streets.
• Approval of revised ADA policies for JAC assist service.
