School holiday programs planned

Carson City's elementary schools are busy with upcoming holiday programs. The high school's choir concert will perform 7 p.m. today at the Carson City Community Center.

On Thursday, Bordewich-Bray will host its band and choir concert at 6:30 p.m. in the school's multipurpose room; Mark Twain's first-grade program will be 5:30 p.m. in the school's multipurpose room; and Seeliger will host its band concert at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the school's multipurpose room.

On Friday, the Seeliger Singers will carol at the Governor's Mansion at

4 p.m. and Seeliger will present the PTO Winter Wonderland from 5-7 p.m. at Carson High School.

Empire hosted its annual holiday band concert, and the second-graders at Mark Twain presented their program Tuesday. Carson High School's musical theater held its concert the same evening.
