LAS VEGAS (AP) - A new trial date has been set for six alleged gang members in the slaying of an off-duty Las Vegas police officer during what authorities say was a botched robbery at his house.

Last week Clark County District Court Judge David Wall said that trial wouldn't begin Feb. 16 for Prentice Marshall, Saul Williams Jr., Quadrae Scott, Adrian Pena and brothers Michael Ferguson and Emmitt Ferguson.

Trial is now set for Feb. 7, 2011.

A hearing is set for Feb. 24 on motions to dismiss the case.

All six defendants have pleaded not guilty to charges in the Nov. 19 slaying of Trevor Nettleton.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against Williams and Marshall. Scott and Pena also face murder, conspiracy, burglary and robbery charges.

The Fergusons are accused of being accessories after the slaying.
