Robert "Bob" Donald Scanlon

Bob Scanlon passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mina, Nev., Jan. 30, 2010. He was a 25-year Nevada resident who truly loved the desert and mountains. He was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., but loved to travel and did so with vigor all through his early and middle adult life. He finally settled down in Nevada, which he considered home. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Bud and Dolly Scanlon, his older brother Mick Scanlon, and his beloved daughter Theresa. He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 52 years, Patricia; five children; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews and many others whom he touched in his amazing life. At his request there will be no service held, he would just ask you to celebrate life, and live!
