Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 12:18 a.m.

• Debit card fraud report on Eagle Station Lane at 12:46 p.m.

• Report of tires slashed on a vehicle overnight near Iris Street and Winters Drive.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of juveniles in the nurses office fighting at Silver Stage Middle School at 8:46 a.m.

• Report of a fence vandalized and a dog let out of a yard on Concord Circle in Fernley at 3:46 p.m.

• Report of a father and son smoking pot together on Spruce Drive in Fernley at 5:12 p.m.

• A mother reported two boys beating up her son on Windchase Drive in Dayton at 5:23 p.m.

• A Dayton parent reported their son's iPod stolen while he was on the school bus.
