Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 22-year-old medical technician from Carson City was arrested at 1:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $242.

- A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A red off-road vehicle was stolen from the 5100 block of Convair Drive.

- Report of a former employee stealing from a business in the 3100 block of South Carson Street.

- A mother reported at 5:55 p.m. that someone entered her home and battered her son.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Misdemeanor arrest on Logan Lane in Fernley at 2:4 a.m.

- A caller reported that the mirrors on his water truck were broken sometime overnight on Dayton Valley Road.

- Destruction of property report at Dayton High School at 8:46 a.m.

- A Mason Valley mother reported at 9:05 p.m. that her 12-year-old son had runaway to his grandmother's and was refusing to come home.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of a German shepherd-cross dog and a small white dog chasing wild horses on Empire Road at 2:31 p.m.
