Carson City community members will have the opportunity to help raise as much as $6,000 for Carson High School by test driving a Ford at the school on

March 6.

Capital Ford will donate $20 to Carson High School for every person (one per household) who test drives a 2010 Taurus, Fusion Hybrid, Flex and others.

Participants will be raising money for the Carson High School baseball teams.

Since the start of the program in 2007, Ford's Drive One 4 UR School program has raised more than $2.3 million for close to 700 high schools across the country.

"We're excited to help raise money for Carson High again and at the same time showcase our innovative lineup," said Tim Milligan, general manager at Capital Ford. "It's important that students continue to have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, and Dick Campagnis' employees are interested in helping wherever we can."

To participate, visit the North Parking lot of Carson High School between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on March 6.
