B&B tour in VC
This event is not only fun but historical. During the third annual Mother's Day Open House, four Virginia City bed and breakfasts will give you a rare glimpse into the roaring beautiful homes built in the days of the Gold Rush. Good time to check out if you want a wedding catered at these fine establishment or to house a guest this summer coming from out of town. Personally, I just love the town and all its history. Stop by Gold Hill and say hello to chef Randy and head up for a fun relaxing Mother's Day.

Elk's Lodge fishing derby
I know there are a few mom's like me that like to fish, not mentioning any names, Suzanne Wright. You can bring your children or grandchildren and head over to Davis Creek State Park off of Old Highway 395, South Washoe for a day at the annual Carson Elk's Lodge #2177 Randy's Annual Fishing Derby. I really enjoying the Elk's and Emblem members. Both these groups have an amazing bunch of individuals in Carson who provide so much. And this event is all about the kids.
