Carson Middle School teams off to 5-0 starts

The Carson Middle School 7th and 8th-grade boys basketball teams are both off to 5-0 starts this season.

In 7th grade action, Carson beat Yerington 28-25; Pau-Wa Lu 57-24; Fallon 54-24; Winnemucca 36-29 and South Tahoe 53-20.

Asa Carter led the team with 60 points in the five contests while Ian Schulz added 47.

In 8th-grade action, Carson beat Yerington 44-7; Pau-Wa Lu 49-28; Winnemucca 39-26; Fallon 43-18; and South Tahoe 40-11.

Cameron Price led the way with 57 total points while Kyle Steele added 34. Trey Mauer had a 10-point game against Fallon and Nolan Shine had an 11-point effort against Pau-Wa Lu and Brandon Davidson scored 10 against South Tahoe.
