Carson City couple gets engaged

Stanley Scott Brokl and Linda Marie Ogilvie became engaged on Nov. 4, 2010, when Stan presented a card asking for her hand in marriage and after a positive reply from Linda presented her with an engagement ring.

Linda is a long-time resident of Carson City and is employed by the state in the Welfare Department.

Stan has lived in Carson City since 1996 is a retired electronics engineer and has his own company Adult Guardian and Management Services LLC specializing in custodianships for disabled veterans.

Both Stan and Linda are active members of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.
